For this treatment, we performed the Dr. Spiller Spelt Enzyme Peel under steam, allowing the gentle warmth to activate the enzymes more effectively for a deeper yet non-aggressive exfoliation process.

Unlike traditional exfoliants that can be abrasive on delicate skin, this advanced enzymatic treatment works by selectively dissolving dead skin cell build-up while respecting and preserving the integrity of the skin barrier.

Formulated with natural spelt enzymes alongside three key enzymatic actives — protease, amylase and lipase — this treatment works intelligently within the skin. Interestingly, these are the same types of enzymes naturally found within our skin, which is why enzymatic exfoliation is often considered one of the most skin-compatible forms of resurfacing.
