BURSITIS - OUCH! You've been told you could have bursitis but - what IS it?

A bursa is a little fluid filled sac that acts to cushion friction between your muscles, tendons and bones.

It is SUPER painful 😫when squashed due to postural strain or injury.

Painful cortisone shots or needling are used to calm them down - but this treatment style can take ages! 🙄
Why? Because it doesn't treat the REASON your bursa is sore.

🦴If you have an arthritic hip, and your groin is super tight to stabilise the hip, this PULLS on the tendon resting on the outside of the hip. Treating that tendon and bursa is NOT the answer. Releasing the groin tension needs to be part of your treatment plan.

At Freeform Health we take the time during your initial treatment to find the REASON why you have bursitis - whether it's in your hip, knee or elbow. A full-body review is what helps us get our answer. Our aim is always to reduce your pain and keep the number of treatments to a minimum.
