💐 Celebrating Lisa
Lisa has been supported by Indidg Connect since 2020, and the growth we have seen in her over the years has been incredible 👌🏽
🔒 When Lisa first came to us, trying new things and engaging in the community safely was overwhelming for her, and many opportunities simply felt out of reach
💛 Since moving into her own home with our SIL supports, Lisa’s confidence, independence and outlook on life have changed dramatically. Having consistent supports around her, people who genuinely care, listen and take the time to understand her, has helped Lisa believe in herself and try things she never thought she could do
✊🏽➡️ One of Lisa’s biggest achievements recently has been starting a Floristry course at TAFE. With encouragement and support from Carol, Lisa has absolutely flourished. She recently completed her very first bouquet and was so proud of herself.
🟡 Seeing her excited about learning, creating and achieving new goals has been amazing.
❤️ We also want to thank Lisa’s mum, Kim, for trusting Indidg Connect to support Lisa over the years. Working together and building strong relationships around participants is so important, and we are grateful to have been part of Lisa’s journey.
A big thank you as well to TAFE NSW Dubbo for providing a supportive environment where Lisa feels comfortable, welcomed and capable 🥰
