Last week, we had the opportunity to welcome renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr Gobind Bal to Dynamic Physiotherapy for our Lunch & Learn series.

We presented our ACL rehabilitation pathway, pre-op and post-op rehab protocols, performance planning process, and return-to-sport framework, while Dr Bal shared his approach to knee management, including both surgical and non-surgical treatment options.

It was a great opportunity to discuss collaborative patient care and showcase how we integrate strength, performance, and evidence-based rehabilitation throughout every stage of recovery.

Does cold water immersion really help recovery? 🧊

Research shows it can reduce soreness, improve recovery feel, and support short‑term performance — especially after matches or heavy training blocks. Whether it’s an ice bath, ocean dip, or even a cold shower, the key is 5–15 minutes at 10–15°C.

Recovery doesn’t need to be fancy — just consistent.
