Meet Oliver! Community Support Worker at All in One. Oliver joins us with over 8 years' experience. Specialising in Mental Health, Disability, Youth Work and Aged Care. Oliver also holds a Bachelor of Human Services and a Bachelor of Psychological Science, bringing a wealth of knowledge to our team. Oliver is passionate about seeing the people he works alongside thrive and meet their goals. Oliver has exceptional interpersonal skills and has the natural ability of being able to make genuine connections with people in a short space of time. Outside of work Oliver enjoys all things gaming, collectables, staying active, and is a foodie at heart. 💙

Yesterday Mark and Maddy attended the official Be UnderStood launch. Be UnderStood supports the mental health and wellbeing of people living with autism and intellectual disabilities and their new app is a true game changer! Seamlessly tailoring information that informs and provides better outcomes and experiences. The app features a wide range of practical mental health resources, provider directory, tracking and progress tools; as well as being an interface for clinical supports in times of crisis, alleviating pressures for the person accessing support. We were proud to be a part of the launch and can't wait to see the positive impacts this will have for the wider community and healthcare settings. Stay tuned! 💙🩷🩶

Staff spotlight: Last night Kayden continued his unbeaten amateur boxing win streak with a unanimous decision victory, taking his record to 3 wins and 0 loses. Kayden displayed resilience, determination and an unwavering desire not to give up, which is a true testament to his character! Some of our team attended the event to cheer Kayden on, and he certainly made the whole team at All in One proud. Amazing effort Kayden! 💙🥊

Meet Taylor! Community Support Worker at All in One. Taylor comes to All in One having previously worked as a Mental Health & Wellbeing Worker for the last 2 years; and holds a Bachelor Psychological Science and Bachelor of Criminology respectively. Taylor is highly driven, motivated and very down to earth; making her a valuable addition to All in One. Taylor also has a keen focus on continual learning and self-development, as she looks to improve her practice and overall knowledge every single day. Outside of work Taylor enjoys cooking, photography, camping trips, the outdoors and spending quality time with her dog. 🩷

On Saturday our superstars Maddy, Montana and Danielle were proudly supporting the Be UnderStood Expo presented by Keeley's Cause. Coinciding on World Mental Health Day, this amazing event highlighted the importance of connection, community and recognising everyone's journey is different. The day was filled with great conversations, positive vibes and genuine connections. A massive thank you to Sharon, Keely and their entire team for hosting such a special event, it was a privilege to be a part of. 💙🩷🩶

Participant spotlight: We have been supporting Des for well over 12 months, as he continues to go from strength to strength. Vicki here is Des's key support worker; always providing consistent, reliable and meaningful supports that promote growth and independence. Des is very hands on and enjoys getting out in the community, some of his favourite things to do include DIY projects, shopping at bunnings, gardening, photography, building planter boxes, meal preparation, cooking, op shopping and recycling. All the while, maintaining ongoing and sustainable employment. It is fair to say Des loves to keep busy and is very independent, which is amazing to see. Des has also developed meaningful friendships through his employment and continues learn and develop new skills each and every day. Working alongside Des is an absolute pleasure, and we are privileged to be playing a small role in his continued success. 💙
