CORE & CONTROL 🔥

Alternating Heel Taps

Alternating heel taps are a simple but effective way to improve your core stability and control.

Lie on your back with your legs in table-top position and your lower back gently pressed into the floor. Slowly tap one heel down to the ground, then return to the start position and repeat on the other side.

Keep the movement slow and controlled, and only lower your leg as far as you can while keeping your back flat.

Aim for:
▫️ 2–3 sets
▫️ 12 reps each leg

This June, the team at Physio One is taking on the Push-Up Challenge 💪

We’ll be completing push-ups each day throughout the month to help raise awareness and funds for mental health, with the daily number reflecting important mental health statistics.

Mental health affects so many people in our community, and we’re proud to support such an important cause.

If you are in a position to support our efforts - every donation, big or small, makes a difference.

The dead bug is a great exercise to improve core strength and control.

Start lying on your back with your legs in table-top position and arms reaching to the ceiling. Slowly lower the opposite arm and leg away from each other, keeping your lower back flat on the floor. Return to the start and repeat on the other side.

Focus on slow, controlled movement 👊

Aim for:
▫️ 2–3 sets
