Last night I heard the usual ‘mum’ coming from Rae’s room.
In the dark I silently picked her up and departed to the usual destination- my bed.
Upon hitting the pillow she grabbed me,
so tightly.
More tightly then usual.
In the early hours of the morning,
She held me.
She held me so tight I couldn’t turn my head,
Nor did I dare too.
The grip felt like a goodbye
In a mere few hours she would be 3
My dearest two year old slowly becoming a memory before my eyes.
It was as if she knew this too.
Her little hands holding on to what we had left.
Before the excitement of 3 would rise with the sun, we lay there in embrace…
Not sure if we are ready to let go of what was…
That’s the thing about these years,
Like the rain falls and somehow knows where to go.
These years dissolve before you effortlessly, gracefully,
Yet profoundly.
How birthdays can be grief in disguise.
How we blow out candles with such joy how we make wishes for what’s to come…
Without a second to say our goodbyes to what we just lost.
For all beginnings are endings to.
How that 2 year old grip whispered to me.. I’ll miss you mummy.
And my god I’ll miss her too.

Happy birthday to my sweet girl.
Each new year is a blessing,
that one day I’ll revisit in my dreams…

2026 is a big one!!

So big that Astrologers will talk about it in the history books.

Uranus in Gemini- the revolutionary mind and mouth.

Imagine your standing on the side of a road.
You see a car travelling towards you at great speed.
You jump, roll and get out of the way before the car smashes through the very spot you were just standing.

What happened in that moment ?
As you catch your breath and bearings after the initial shock,
You realise it wasn’t your thinking that saved you and it sure as hell wasn’t your feelings.
It was your instincts at work. Before you could think or feel you acted. Your body responded before your mind ever could…

That’s Aries ♈️ the rawness, the body, the drive to act before thought can ruin it. The courage to move before feelings complicate it!

Individually, this New Moon is about getting out of your head. Getting out of your feelings and acting from that little old place we call the ‘gut instinct’.
