This Sunday, a number of our team are lacing up for the City2Surf - 14 km from Hyde Park to Bondi, and the world's largest fun run.

We couldn't be prouder to cheer on Grace, Jess, Charlotte, Ciara, Ellen, Adrian and Laura (and the rest of our crew!) as they take on the course.

Dr Christina Teng will also be taking part with the GI Cancer Trials team, aiming to raise $30,000 to support life-saving GI cancer research. If you would like to show your support for this amazing cause, please click here ➡️ https://city2surf26.grassrootz.com/gicancer/christina-teng

Whether you're chasing a personal best or simply soaking up the atmosphere, we'll be right behind you every step of the way. 💛

Good luck, team - bring it home! 🌊

Did you know? When lung cancer is found early, over 65% of cases can be successfully treated. Yet it remains the most common cause of cancer death in Australia, largely because it's so often caught late.

That gap between what's possible and what's happening is exactly why research matters.

At Scientia Clinical Research, our oncology trials give Australian patients access to first-in-human and early-phase trials and every trial is a chance to turn promising science into a real option for someone who needs it.

This World Lung Cancer Day, we recognise the patients, volunteers, researchers and clinicians driving that progress forward💛

Today marks Chronic Disease Awareness Day and we’d like to take a moment to recognise that for millions of Australians, living with a chronic illness isn't a background detail, it's their every day.

Clinical research is one of the most meaningful ways we can change that picture. At Scientia Clinical Research, we run Phase 1 trials that form the earliest and most critical stage of that pipeline. Testing new therapies for the first time in humans, so that the treatments of tomorrow can reach the people who need them most.

To everyone living with a chronic condition, and to the researchers, clinicians, and participants who are part of finding answers, today is for you.

A few weeks ago we were treated to two amazing chocolate cakes from one of our Iron Study cohorts! 🍰

“This rich chocolate cake is our little gesture of thanks to all the doctors, nurses, coordinators & recruitment screening team, invisible lab staff and everyone behind the scenes for all you dedication and kindness to our patient care” – Sharon on behalf of the Iron Study Cohort

This put a HUGE smile on our faces, and we are so grateful and proud that they had such a wonderful experience here at Scientia.

Thank you so much and we hope to see you for another study again soon! ✨

Did you know haemochromatosis is one of the most common genetic conditions in Australia - yet most people have never heard of it? 🩸

This , we're shining a light on iron overload and the research working to change outcomes for those affected.

We’re currently running ‘The Iron Study’, a healthy volunteer clinical trial investigating a potential treatment for hereditary haemochromatosis. Our next cohort starts next week, and we can’t wait to get started!
