Today, we had the profound honor of conducting the funeral service for Allan Charles O'Malley.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies remain with his brother, Robert, and his sisters, Mary and Debra, during this difficult time. We sincerely thank the entire O'Malley family for the trust they placed in us to guide Allan’s final farewell.

Allan lived a life defined by curiosity and a deep sense of adventure. A devoted Titanic scholar and avid reader, he was captivated by royal history, grand castles, and the ancient world. His passion for the past was not just lived through pages, but through his travels across the globe, exploring the historic landscapes of England, Rome, Egypt, and Spain.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported the family, and helped celebrate Allan’s remarkable life today. May his next great journey be as peaceful as it is profound.

Are you organised, good with people and someone who notices the little details?

Sensible Funerals is looking for a capable, caring administrator to join our family-owned funeral home.

You’ll help keep our office running smoothly, support our funeral directors and assist families through a difficult time. Your work will include answering enquiries, maintaining accurate records, preparing paperwork and coordinating day-to-day administration.

We’d love to hear from you if you bring:

• Strong administration and computer skills
• A warm, professional telephone manner
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• The ability to stay calm when priorities change
• Compassion, discretion and respect for every family
