🍩 National Doughnut Day at Riverview Terrace! 🍩

Our residents celebrated National Doughnut Day with a sweet and creative activity—decorating their own doughnuts! From rich milk chocolate and white chocolate drizzles to colourful sprinkles and fun toppings, each doughnut became a delicious masterpiece.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and sweet treats enjoyed throughout the afternoon. A wonderful way to celebrate a classic favourite and spend time together!

🎶 An Afternoon of Music, Memories & Community 🎶

We were delighted to welcome Willowbridge Community Services once again for their cherished Sing-Along program, a tradition they have shared with our residents for many years.

Through live music, familiar songs, dancing, and meaningful connections, Willowbridge continues to bring joy, laughter, and a wonderful sense of community to Riverview Terrace. Music has a unique way of uplifting spirits, encouraging participation, and creating lasting memories, and this special afternoon was no exception.

We are grateful for the dedication and enthusiasm Willowbridge brings with every visit and look forward to many more afternoons filled with music, friendship, and smiles.

What a wonderful evening spent together at our Family & Friends Bingo! ❤️

Residents enjoyed quality time with loved ones, lots of laughter, and a fun night of bingo. With great company, sweet treats, and lucky winners throughout the evening, it was truly a special time for everyone. ☀️🎁

🌸 Celebrating Mother’s Day at Riverview Terrace 🌸

Last week was filled with wonderful moments as we celebrated the amazing mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures in our community. Residents enjoyed beautiful music, special visits, and meaningful time together.

A heartfelt thank you to Canadian Mental Health Association, Brant Haldimand Norfolk Branch for stopping by and spreading joy by distributing lovely roses to our residents. 💐 Your kindness helped make the celebration even more special.

From smiles and laughter to music and memories, it was a week full of love and appreciation for all the incredible women we honour on Mother’s Day. ❤️

This Nurses Week, we’re recognizing and thanking the nurses within our residences and throughout our communities for the care, compassion, skill, and support they provide every day.

Nurses are there for people through moments of uncertainty, transition, healing, comfort, and connection. In senior living and across every area of healthcare, their impact reaches far beyond clinical care alone.

To all nurses, thank you for the professionalism, empathy, and dedication you bring to others each day. Your work makes a meaningful difference in the lives of so many. 💙

🚓🥣 Soup, Bingo & Community at Its Best 💙

This week at Riverview Terrace, we had the pleasure of hosting Brantford Police Service for a special Soup & Bingo afternoon!

Brantford Police approached us with this wonderful idea and brought a delicious soup to share with our residents — preparing and serving it with such care and kindness. 💫

Residents enjoyed their warm soup while taking part in lively rounds of bingo, with the Chief of Police calling out the numbers and a detective assisting along the way. 🎉

The room was filled with laughter, smiles, and meaningful connections. Our residents truly loved the experience and the time spent together.

A heartfelt thank you to Brantford Police for your generosity and for creating such a memorable day — we look forward to welcoming you again! 💙
