I only ate off my normal diet for one week... and my body let me know.
I just got back from vacation, and while I had an amazing time, I was eating foods I normally avoidāmore gluten and more sugar (for someone else it might be other foods).
Within a few days, I noticed my eyes looked puffy, my stomach felt swollen, and my joints were aching.
For me, thatās how inflammation shows up.
But for you, it might be other symptoms like headaches, low back pain, bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea, or arthritic pain.
What we eat can absolutely influence inflammationābut hereās the part many people miss...
Sometimes itās not just the food.
If your gut microbiome is out of balance, your immune system can become more reactive, making you more sensitive to certain foods.
Thatās why simply eliminating foods isnāt always the whole answer.
Supporting your gut health can help reduce inflammation at the source.
So if youāre constantly feeling inflamed after eating, donāt just ask, āWhat food should I cut out?ā
Ask, āWhy is my body reacting this way in the first place?ā
Thatās where the real healing begins.
This is what I address in my Wholistic Womens Hormone reset program- more info in bio.
