It's unfair. It is. You are allowed to go to work and laugh with friends and make plans, and STILL be mad that you're struggling with fertility.

Even if it's not every second of the day, it's an under current that can feel constant.

And you're allowed to hate that. Even when everything else is "going well."

If fertility is taking up more space than you want it to, you don't have to wait to reach out. We're here for you

You know you're trying to conceive when...

Your calendar has more appointments than coffee dates.
You know exactly what cycle day you're on.
You can pronounce medications your friends have never heard of.
You mentally calculate due dates... without even trying.
You've become surprisingly good at waiting.

Trying to conceive quietly changes your everyday life.

The habits.
The routines.
The thoughts running in the background.

Sometimes it's comforting to know someone else gets it.

If you found yourself nodding along, we're glad you found us. đź’›

There comes a point where fertility treatment stops feeling like something you're doing and starts feeling like the way you live.

Your schedule revolves around appointments.
You speak a language you never wanted to learn.
You measure time in cycles, retrievals, transfers, and two-week waits.
Your mind is constantly planning, calculating, remembering, and hoping.

It's not just physically demanding.

It's mentally exhausting.

If you've been wondering why you feel so drained lately, remember this: your brain has been carrying an invisible mental load for weeks, months, or even years.

No wonder you're exhausted.

🤍 If you're navigating infertility and finding the emotional weight is becoming just as heavy as the medical side, you don't have to carry it alone.

It just changes what the grief looks like

Grief doesn't disappear because you've already become a parent

It becomes so much more complicated

It comes with guilt for wanting another baby or questioning if you're "allowed" to be sad

Maybe you keep quiet because you're worried others will think you should just be grateful

The truth is: you can be grateful for the child you have and feel grief for the child you're longing to have

Your feelings are valid and we're here for you

Your life starts revolving around cycles.

You stop making plans.

You don’t recognize yourself anymore.

And everyone else just keeps moving on.

Everything gets scheduled around your body.
Your calendar. Your hormones. Your hope.
You might still be functioning — working, showing up, smiling but internally, you feel paused while the rest of the world moves forward.

That sense of being stuck can quietly turn into anxiety, numbness, or resentment.
This isn’t just about wanting a baby.
It’s about grieving the version of life you thought you’d be living by now.
You deserve space to talk about that part too.
Fertility support shouldn’t only focus on outcomes,
it should help you survive the in-between.

Follow .fertility for grounded, honest support through the fertility journey.

Sometimes "doing no harm" means slowing down, not intervening harder

Save this if you work with reproductive or perinatal clients

Sometimes it's watching everyone else's life keep moving while yours feels like it's on pause

Sometimes it's watching you drift from your partner

Sometimes it's feeling like you don't have any control of what's next

Sometimes it's losing yourself

Sometimes it's all of the above
