Living with Parkinson’s doesn’t mean just reacting — it means getting ahead. I’ve seen the biggest gains come from people who make physiotherapy a regular, proactive part of their routine, not something they only try after a fall. A Parkinson’s-trained physio can spot tiny shifts in gait, posture, balance, and strength — and fix them before they become problems.
At Boxing 4 Health we now have two skilled physios on our team (Tina Cousineau, PT and Janine Sibayan, PT), and we’re excited to offer LSVT BIG with Tina — an intensive, evidence-based 4-week program (4×1hr sessions/week) designed to retrain movement and build real neurological change.
Combine physio check-ins (we recommend every 6–8 weeks) with Parkinson’s-specific classes and one-on-one training, and you give yourself the best chance to stay stronger, longer. Physiotherapy is a registered health service and is often claimable through benefits — so don’t put it off.
