Meet Morgan: The Administrative Powerhouse💪

For over 10 years, Morgan has been the organizational force behind Watersedge, coordinating our courier team, managing workflow, handling customer inquiries, and overseeing patient care with precision and warmth.

What makes Watersedge special? "The collective of the most talented and passionate people I have ever known. A special sense of joy and pride in the air."

Outside work, Morgan enjoys scenic walks by Ottawa's historical buildings, outdoor concerts, painting, and sculpture. Favorite food? Poutine from The Great Canadian Poutinerie!

Fun fact: She once snuck into a charity gala hosted by the Ottawa Senators to meet her hockey hero Chris Neil - the same night Watersedge won Medium Sized Business of the Year.

That moment when the patient lifts the mirror and the crown reads a shade off is one every dentist wants to avoid.

It costs you the seating appointment, backs up your schedule, and puts a dent in patient confidence.

We've been matching shades for over 30 years, and our take is clear: nail value and you're most of the way there.

Our latest blog covers:
✅ Why shade mismatches happen, on both the operatory and lab side
✅ What metamerism is and why it trips up so many cases
✅ How to photograph a shade tab so the lab can actually use it
✅ What to expect from a lab that treats colour as a discipline
✅ Where digital shade tools help, and where they don't

A Day on the Bench 🔬

This is where the work happens. Precision measured in fractions of a millimetre, cases organized by date and priority, and technicians who have seen just about everything.

Behind every restoration is a technician who takes it personally.

Happy Labour Day!

Today we celebrate the skilled hands and hard work behind every trade, including the technicians who craft each restoration that leaves our lab.

Wishing all our dental partners a restful long weekend.
