🧠 Concussion Awareness Month + Rowan’s Law Day

September is an important time to raise awareness about concussions and the importance of recognizing, reporting, and properly managing them.

Rowan’s Law Day, observed on September 28th in Ontario, honors Rowan Stringer, a high school rugby player who tragically died after sustaining multiple concussions.
Her story serves as an important reminder that no two concussions are the same and that proper assessment and individualized care matter.

Recovery doesn’t have to mean simply “waiting it out.” A personalized and targeted approach can help guide a gradual return to activity, exercise, school, work, and sport based on your symptoms and goals.

At ALPHA, we believe in meeting each person where they are and creating a recovery plan that is individualized to them. 💙
