This , we are celebrating the teams across SHN who are rethinking what care for older adults can look like.
From our Move and Play initiative at Centenary Hospital, where staff are bringing energy and creativity into rehabilitation, to our continued spread of our End PJ Paralysis program, helping patients stay active, mobile, and engaged in their recovery, this work is changing the patient experience in meaningful ways.
It is also being recognized beyond our walls. SHN is proud to be designated an Age-Friendly Health System by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, reflecting our commitment to delivering care that focuses on what matters most to older adults.
Together, these efforts show what is possible when teams come together with a shared purpose: helping seniors maintain independence, recover faster, and feel more like themselves throughout their care journey.
