Hi, I’m Alexis! 👋 I’m a third-year Honours Kinesiology co-op student at the University of Waterloo, with my sights set on a future career in medicine. I’m passionate about learning more about healthcare, connecting with people, and discovering what goes on behind the scenes in a clinic.

One of my favourite parts of working at PhysioMira is that no two days are quite the same! I love meeting new people, welcoming patients, and getting to know the amazing individuals who walk through our doors. Whether it’s a quick hello, a friendly conversation, or a smile to brighten someone’s day, I’m always happy to help make their visit a little more welcoming! 💙

👋🏽Meet Tyler, our newest co-op student who will be hanging out with us for the next four months!
Tyler is a third-year Commerce student at the University of Guelph, majoring in Sport and Event Management. He’s interested in learning what really goes on behind the scenes of a business and is ready to jump in, learn and help wherever he can.
A sports fan himself, Tyler spends much of his free time playing sports and, when he’s not doing that, enjoying time with friends.
We’re excited to have him here and put his sport, business and event interests to work!

👋Hello I'm Jenna, and I'm currently doing my Masters of Physical Therapy at Western Ontario! I completed my undergrad in kinesiology at Laurier University.

I am interested in exploring paediatrics, spinal cord injuries, and sport injuries through out my current and future placements!

I enjoy playing sports with friends, especially softball and pickleball. I also love playing card games, exploring craft projects and finding new things to bake!

Now, we’re proud and excited to share that Sarah has officially been accepted into physio school!

Anyone who knows how competitive physio school admissions are knows what a huge accomplishment this is. Her hard work, determination, and positivity made this happen, and it’s been amazing to watch her journey.

We’re excited to welcome Julie to PhysioMira for her 6-week consolidation placement! 👋
Julie is currently completing her Master of Physical Therapy at Western University and joins us under the supervision of Amy.
She previously earned her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology (Co-op) from the University of Waterloo. Her clinical interests include musculoskeletal and sports injury rehab, concussion management, pelvic floor physiotherapy, manual therapy, and dry needling.
When she’s not in the clinic or studying, you can find her dancing, swimming, café hopping, or enjoying walks with friends.
