Albyn Hospital’s Imaging Department provides fast, convenient access to a comprehensive range of private diagnostic services. Following a £1.3 million investment in new technology, our department is equipped with advanced imaging systems designed to support accurate diagnosis.

Our diagnostic services include:
• Breast Imaging – including advanced 3D digital mammography (tomosynthesis) to enhance breast cancer detection.
• Revolution Ascend GE CT Scanner – offering virtual colonography, cardiac calcium scoring, coronary angiography, CT urograms, musculoskeletal imaging with metal artefact reduction software, and comprehensive routine CT scans of the head, neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis.
• GE Voyager 1.5T Wide-Bore MRI Scanner – providing small bowel studies, musculoskeletal imaging, abdominal and gynaecological examinations, and head and neck scans.
• Ultrasound
• Digital X-ray
• Fluoroscopy
• OPG (Dental X-ray)
