Get down and get checked lads 💚

Would you be interested in receiving a free prostate cancer test in the Heights, during November. We are holding one at our sister venue in Copa next Thurday and its fully booked.

It would be open to at risk men aged 40 to 80. The test is a simple blood test only carried out by trained phlebotanist.

Did you know that 1 in 8 men will get this cancer, and 12500 men die of it every year in the UK. Caught early it can be easily treated.

Let us know by way of feedback here please.

A fyddai gennych ddiddordeb mewn derbyn prawf canser y prostad am ddim yn yr Heights, yn ystod mis Tachwedd? Rydym yn cynnal un yn ein lleoliad chwaer yn Copa ddydd Iau nesaf ac mae wedi'i archebu'n llawn.

Byddai ar agor i ddynion sydd mewn perygl rhwng 40 ac 80 oed. Prawf gwaed syml yw'r prawf a gynhelir gan fflebotanydd hyfforddedig yn unig.

Oeddech chi'n gwybod y bydd 1 o bob 8 dyn yn cael y canser hwn, a bod 12500 o ddynion yn marw ohono bob blwyddyn yn y DU. Os caiff ei ddal yn gynnar, gellir ei drin yn hawdd.

Rhowch wybod i ni trwy adborth yma os gwelwch yn dda.

Yr Wyddfa 9 x Everest Reunion

Last Saturday was special.

A few weeks ago we stood on the slopes of Yr Wyddfa asking ourselves if climbing the height of Everest in 48 hours was actually possible.

The answer, as it turns out, was yes.

But what I’ve realised since is that the mountain was never the most important part.

Last Saturday, looking around that room, I was reminded what this was really about.

The lads who stepped up to the challenge.

The support team who gave up their entire weekend to keep us moving.

The sponsors who backed an idea.

The families who put up with the training, the planning and the madness.

The people who donated.

The people who followed every step online.

The people who believed in MenTribe.

During the challenge we met two separate families on the mountain who were scattering the ashes of sons they had lost to su***de.

Both told us the same thing.

“If our son had known about something like MenTribe, things might have been different.”

Those conversations will stay with me forever.

That’s why we do this.

Not for medals.

Not for trophies.

Not for social media.

We do it because if one man sees what we’re doing and decides to ask for help instead of suffering in silence, then every step was worth it.

Yr Wyddfa 9 x Everest reached over a million people online.

I genuinely hope somewhere amongst those views was a man who needed to know he wasn’t alone.

Last Saturday gave us the chance to reflect, laugh, share stories, hand out some well-deserved awards and celebrate what was achieved together.

But more than anything, it reminded me how lucky I am to be surrounded by the people in these photos.

What we achieved wasn’t built by one person.

It was built by a tribe.

Thank you to every single person who played a part.

A huge thank you also to for allowing us to use their function room for the reunion evening. It provided the perfect setting to bring everyone back together one final time, reflect on the challenge and celebrate what was achieved.

This challenge belongs to all of you.

We are MenTribe.

After 48 hours on the mountain… it’s time to bring everyone back together.

This Saturday we’ll be holding the Yr Wyddfa 9 x Everest Reunion Night.

A chance to reflect on the challenge, recognise the people who made it possible, hand out awards, share stories and properly say thank you.

What happened on that mountain wasn’t just a physical challenge.

It became a reminder of what can happen when people stop trying to carry everything alone and start showing up for each other.

To every challenger, support member, sponsor, family member and person who backed us throughout the event, this night is for you.

Same team. Different setting.

On Friday, became champions at Goodison Park 🏆⚽️

But this was never just about football.

This is what happens when men are given purpose.
When they’re given belonging.
When they’re surrounded by other men who genuinely want to see them win in life.

MenTribe FC started as a simple idea = lads getting together once a week for a kickabout, a laugh and an outlet from the pressures of life. What it became was something far bigger. A team. A community. A support network. A tribe.

People see a trophy.
We see men turning up week after week when life was trying to isolate them.
We see confidence rebuilt.
Friendships formed.
Men smiling again.

The biggest killer of men is still ourselves. Isolation. Silence. Feeling like we have to carry everything alone.

But what Friday showed is that when men stand shoulder to shoulder, support each other and move in the same direction, what we can achieve together is truly unstoppable.

This trophy belongs to every man who has ever turned up to a MenTribe session looking for something more.

Bank Holiday Sunday and the lads still showed up.

An extra Bangor Weekly Walk tonight before we go again on Tuesday. No pressure, no expectations. Just good people getting out, moving, talking and making the effort for themselves and each other.

Sometimes the hardest part is just getting out the door, especially on a bank holiday weekend when most are sat in the house recovering from the night before.

Massive respect to every man who turned up tonight. Consistency builds habits, habits build resilience.

Take the first step… we will take the rest with you.
