We were delighted to take part in the PSNI Ombudsman Staff Connection Day at the MAC Theatre, where inclusion was at the heart of the conversation. 💙

Our team shared more about USEL's work, while learners openly discussed the barriers they have overcome and the opportunities they've gained through employment and training. Their honesty, resilience and determination left a lasting impression, and we are incredibly proud to have their voices represented on the panel.

Thank you to the Office of the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland for the opportunity to be part of such an inspiring and meaningful event.

A busy morning at USEL today as we hosted our own Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning! ☕🍰

We would like to thank Michele and everyone involved in making the event so special.

The Macmillan Coffee Morning is the UK's biggest fundraising event for Macmillan Cancer Support, bringing people together over coffee and cake to raise money for those living with cancer.

To everyone who contributed, donated, baked, or attended, thank you for your support.

The coffee morning was followed by an informative session from Linda at Benenden Health, where staff had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the support and benefits available to them.

A great morning of fundraising, learning, and coming together as a team. 💚

Just a few snippets from our Skills For Life & Work Graduation Ceremony last week at the Belfast Harbour Commissioners Office. ✨

A bittersweet day filled with pride, celebration, and plenty of happy tears as we recognised the achievements of our Class of 2026. Cate Conway hosted the ceremony, with inspiring speeches from our guests, including Stephen McGlew, who spoke on behalf of the Minister for Communities, and a special musical appearance from Andrea Begley.

Certificates were presented by the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Róis-Máire Donnelly, marking a significant milestone for each graduate.

A huge thank you to the amazing team for keeping everyone well fed throughout the day, from tea, coffee and traybakes to delicious curries, lasagne and fresh salads.

A big thank you to the Skills for Life and Work team and to everyone who helped make this event so special. Your support, encouragement, and hard work created a day our graduates will never forget.

To all of our graduates, congratulations. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved and can't wait to see where your journey takes you next.
