Great day at yesterdays Criminal justice themed Roots forum 😁

Our fabulous Criminal Justice team did a service share, updating our recovery community on our pathways for those navigating the criminal justice system in BwD.

We loved to hear the service shares from Lancashire Women and Red Rose Recovery alongside the inspiring lived experience journeys and music ✨ 🎶

A day of connection, recovery and fun! Next forum will take place 30th September

Our Recovery Team took advantage of the recent sunshine and spent time together away from the office on a team my time ☀️

✨ My times are important opportunities for our Spark team members to have meaningful time with their leaders to focus on their own personal wellbeing and professional development.

✨ Having healthy and happy teams help us to deliver quality services to those that need us

Our recovery team combined a visit to St Anne’s with a wellbeing walk, and group reflective practice supporting their personal and professional growth, and connection together as a team 😁

After years of struggling with alcohol and substance use, Nicola decided to seek support through Spark.

Her recovery journey included community groups and the DEAP rehabilitation programme. While there were challenges along the way, she stayed engaged with support and completed the programme.

Today, Nicola says she feels more confident, more connected to her family, and now supports others through her role in Spark’s recovery team 🫶

Our harm reduction champions have been out again today, visiting local venues to provide Naloxone, harm reduction advice and friendly Spark support ✨

You may have seen them at Phoenix Hub, Bramwell House and Canterbury house amongst other places today!
