We are ordering some lovely yellow collection boxes today to help us reach our £25k fundraising goal - every penny (or pound) helps - and they need some friendly homes!

Due to funding and staffing we have taken the very difficult decision to pause both our Brampton and Cockermouth groups. All other groups are running as normal including our Workington face to face group and both online groups. Please get in touch if you would like to receive the online invites.

So, I did say something exciting would be happening on Friday. And...

​this is it!

​The News and are doing a whole campaign to support us, which is absolutely amazing.

​So apart from... a ridiculously big picture of me on the front page, there is a double-page spread on the inside with articles about our wonderful mums and the fundraising everyone is doing.

And that Happy Mums really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, um, really, really, really needs some support so that we can keep supporting mums in our community.

​So, they're going to be doing a campaign for us over the next six weeks, which is fab. So, keep your eyes peeled for lots more stuff... Happy Mums in the News & Star!

Today, this wonderful lady facilitated her last group as a member of staff at Happy Mums.

Helen has been a huge support to all the mums she has worked with and the team as a whole. She will leave a big hole in . (Until she comes back as a Volunteer... hint hint!!)

A little update (and a big thank you!) 🧶

​It was so lovely checking my inbox today and seeing a whole flurry of donation emails come through!

​A few of our mums have grouped together as the Crochet Mamas and are running a crochethon for us in mid-August. They shared it on their socials today, and thanks to everyone’s kindness, we’ve officially passed £1,500! Thank you all so much, it really is amazing.

​Also... I have a wee challenge for you!

​Many of you know Giovanna Fletcher’s podcast, Happy Mum (formerly Happy Mum, Happy Baby). We share such a similar aim—talking about the real difficulties mums go through and helping them through it. She has celebrity status, and we run support groups with fewer celebrities, but we're fighting for the same thing!

​If enough of us send her a message or write a letter (there’s a quick template on our website, plus a screenshot in the comments/bio), who knows? She might give us a shout-out on her podcast or share something on Instagram for us. If you’ve got 5 or 10 minutes to spare, I’d be so grateful if you could help out!
