This week is Cervical Screening Awareness Week.
Cervical screening saves thousands of lives each year – and takes just around 10 minutes or less.

All women aged 25 to 64 are invited for cervical screening every 5 years. The test checks for cell changes in your cervix. Caught early, these can be treated before they become something more serious.

You’re in control throughout — you can ask questions, request a smaller speculum, try a different position, or pause or stop the test at any time.

Make your appointment when you get invited. Missed your last appointment? Contact us on 01244 671 991 to get booked in!

REMINDER
📢 Important Repeat Prescription Update
Lache Health Centre is no longer accepting repeat prescription requests from Owens Pharmacy or Westminster Park Pharmacy.
Patients using these pharmacies should now request repeat medication directly through the practice by:
✅ Using the NHS App
✅ Completing a request form at reception/Online request form on our website
✅ Emailing: [email protected]
Please include:
• Patient name
• Date of birth
• Medication name and dosage
• Nominated pharmacy (or advise if collecting a paper prescription)
Requests can be made up to 10 days in advance. Please allow up to 72 hours for processing.

Your nominated pharmacy can still be Owens Pharmacy or Westminster Park Pharmacy – we will just no longer accept repeat prescription requests made by them on your behalf. Thank you.
