It's Men's Health Week. 💙

Men are statistically less likely to attend routine health appointments — including eye tests. It's one of those things that's easy to put off when nothing feels obviously wrong.

But a lot of eye conditions don't have obvious symptoms in the early stages.

Regular check-ups are the simplest way to catch anything early.

June is Cataract Awareness Month — a good reminder to know what to look for. 👁️

Cataracts develop gradually, which means many people don't realise their vision has changed until it's been that way for a while.

The early signs are often subtle — slightly cloudy or hazy vision, colours looking a little washed out, or increased sensitivity to glare.

If it's been a while since your last eye test, or something doesn't feel quite right, give us a call. We're open Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm. 📞
