With warmer weather forecast this week, some community hubs and libraries are offering cool spaces for those that need it.

Cool Spaces offer a comfortable place to rest and cool down, helping reduce the risks of hot weather.

You can expect:

- Shelter from the sun
- Free drinking water, just ask a member of staff if you need it
- A place to cool down
- Seating and space to rest

Spaces are available whenever you need somewhere to stay out of the sun, during each venue’s normal opening hours.

Leeds City Council now offers “Cool Spaces” within some of their Community Hubs and Libraries.

Meet friends, sit in a cool area reading a book or just call in if the warmer weather gets too much.

Shelter from the sun
