Have your say on NHS appointment letters

NHS Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board People’s Panel are asking local people to share their experiences of receiving NHS appointment letters between 1 October 2025 and 31 May 2026.

Some people have told us letters can arrive late — or not at all — and we want to understand how often this happens and how it affects access to care.

Join the People’s Panel today and you’ll receive the survey link within 24 hours.

🎁Prize draw: two £50 Love2shop vouchers

📅Survey closes: midnight, 13 September 2026.

🔍Search: ICB Staffordshire People’s Panel

📱Or visit: https://staffsstoke.icb.nhs.uk/get-involved/peoples-panel/

Your feedback helps us improve how appointment information is sent across hospitals, community services and diagnostics.

The People’s Panel is our specially-selected panel of local people who are at the heart of helping us to achieve our vision.

We’re sorry about recent appointment cancellations

We would like to apologise to patients who have recently had appointments cancelled or rearranged at short notice.

We have experienced a period of staff sickness which has unfortunately resulted in a number of appointments having to be cancelled. We appreciate how frustrating and inconvenient this can be, particularly when you have already made arrangements to attend or have been waiting for an appointment.

We are currently reviewing our appointment capacity and are looking at putting on additional clinics to help minimise the impact of these cancellations and provide patients with further opportunities to be seen.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding while we work to restore our usual level of appointment availability.

Staff Training: Wednesday 12th August 2026

The practice will be holding staff training Wednesday 13th August 1pm to 6.30pm. During this time we will have minimal staff cover so it may take much longer for your call to be answered.

If your request is not urgent, during this time we recommend completing our online form Thursday 14th August. Alternatively, you can submit the 'I have an admin or routine care request form' and we will respond the next working day.
