Hot weather can be more than just uncomfortable - it can be dangerous, especially for young children, older adults, pregnant women, and those with underlying health conditions.

Dr Judy’s top tips for staying safe in the heat:
💧 Drink plenty of water
🏠 Stay in the shade or cool indoor spaces
👕 Wear loose, light-coloured clothing
☀️ Avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked car

Watch out for signs of heat exhaustion:
💦 Excessive sweating
😵 Dizziness or fainting
🤕 Headaches
🤢 Nausea
💓 Rapid heartbeat
