The QUINTET study is exploring the experiences of families following the sudden and unexpected loss of a child. 🕊

And we want to hear from the Black Global Majority community.

Parents and grandparents from the UK are invited to take part if their child or grandchild died suddenly and unexpectedly between the ages of 0 and 30 years, between 9 months and 5 years ago.

The study, studies experiences, needs and outcomes of bereaved families & professionals after sudden child loss.
funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Health and Social Care Delivery Research Programme (award number NIHR159266).

Learning how sudden and unexpected loss of a child affects families' lives, health/wellbeing, & to learn about their experiences of investigations, care and support following the death.

Damali Beautiful Vision CIC are pleased to announce that we are working in partnership with who are conducting and leading on the QUINTET Study project. The study is about health inequalities and bereavement care after the sudden and unexpected death of a child.
Funded by The UK National Institute for Health and Care Research. 💙

We shall be hosting our first consultation workshop in North East London for Black Global Majority families and individuals on Monday 19th October to share their lived experiences regarding their bereavement care. 🗓
