The wellness industry has sold you a full-time job you never applied for.

Breathe on a schedule. Plunge in cold water before the sun's up.

Different outfits, same instruction: your arousal is too high, bring it down, and keep bringing it down for the rest of your life.

You're good at this. That's the problem. You've turned staying calm into one more thing to be excellent at, and now you spend energy all day hauling your own nervous system back inside a window that stays exactly as small as it was.

Regulation manages the narrow window. They know nothing about it makes the window wider.

What makes it wider is the thing they taught you to be frightened of.

Tracking Calories so you eat enough of them, every day, for long enough that the system stops treating the night as a shift it has to stay half-awake through.

Under-fuel and your sleep goes shallow, because a body running short will not spend eight hours in deep repair while it still has to find food. Feed it properly and the deep sleep comes back. And the range of stress you can move through without tipping out widens on its own, with no technique involved and nothing to remember.

You were taught to fear the number. The number is the intervention.

I've watched people spend years trying to downregulate a nervous system that was simply running on empty.

Do this and regulation stops being a task you perform. It runs underneath everything, the way it was built to. You train harder. You hold more. The stress that used to end your day passes straight through you.

And nothing about your health pays the bill.

Stop regulating. Start expanding.

A little back to back combination with James Cooper

You might think this was an amazing transformation, but the test of a it's actually quality is not the result alone, but how well does it stick.

This was a great example of why I know longer push too extreme.

Amul was dead set at making the shoot - against my better judgement we went hard to make the deadline.

He smashed it. But After come the inevitable rebound.

But you learn and you grow, this is where a good low dose GLP-1 comes into its own preventing any rebound if you do need to go a little harder if you have a particular deadline.

This is how I do it now.

Use the GLP-1 to take off the edge of dieting, it's a tool for sticking to the diet that already would work regardless. Then after use a low does that's slowly slowers as you go though an intergration phase. Until slowly the result is solid and fixed as part of a healthy lifestyle without the use of any peptides and hormones.

A lession for everyone involved.

Happy Birthday to one of the most inspiring women l know!

You carry yourself with grace, integrity, and beauty.

The love and passion you put into your work & clients sets the standard and keeps me on my toes.

Your forever learning, growing and evolving.

You allow your heart to be wide open even when the world would have you shut it down.

Happy Birthday my sister from another mister

Shy gal > My Gal

One of my favorite client Katy that still trains with me today.

We unlocked something special.

From barely understanding how her body created force, and unable to express intensity.

To precise, deliberate ex*****on of an exercise.

She deadlifts - 100kg comfortably for reps, she can push herself harder then most.

And she as learn to develop a relationship with food, that no longer creates more pressure to pressure the goal. But nurtures her energy, her happiness, and her output in her career.

She is one of the few people i'm happy to turn up at 6am and train...despite almost never been on time.

Current on the second cut, so the best is yet to come!

Unfortunately not everyone wants to be face plaster across my instagram. But lucky the back shot does the job.

A lot of weight loss in my view involves a shift in Identity.

It's not about changing who you are, and becoming an overnight gym rate.

It's about a shift in prospective, a shift towards understanding your values might have shifted. Your identity just might not a caught up yet.

That's where good coaching comes in, the reinforcement of what really makes you happy vs the patterns and behaviors that we still embody that don't align with those values.

Slowly you learn to focus more on what adds to your life, and equally slowly let go of what no longer serves you & your goals.

Not a difficult result for Will.

Of course he was already in great shape.

He just needed a little more mass.

We actually did no Personal Training - Me and Will just trained together for a few months, with a nicely structured nutritional strategy.

He actually went on to be a monster 😂

Fifty-two women with major depression. All of them on an antidepressant. Half of them also took 5 grams of creatine.
The creatine group pulled ahead by week two.

Nobody sells it for this. It sits in the supplements section next to the shaker bottles, marketed at men who want bigger arms, and the most interesting thing it does happens above the neck.

Here’s the version without the biochemistry:

Your brain runs on a battery it can only charge a few seconds at a time. Everything you do costs a charge, and the expensive stuff isn’t lifting or running. It’s holding your tone in a meeting you want to walk out of.

It’s being patient at 6pm when you’ve had nothing left since 3. Composure is the priciest thing your brain buys, so it’s the first thing that gets cut when you’re running low.

Creatine doesn’t give you energy. It gives you a spare charge so the tank stops hitting empty at the exact moment you need to be a high performance human.

That’s why it’s in Phase One of 4·8·4™. We stabilise before we touch anything else. You cannot rebuild a body that’s running on emergency reserves, and you can’t out discipline an empty battery.

Il be straight with you: the strong evidence here is depression, not anxiety, whatever your IG feed says. It’s a floor, not a fix. And 5g is the dose that has the research behind it.

But if you feel permanently on the edge, it’s worth asking whether you’re broken — or just out of fuel.

We kept his transformation low key.

I call ir "working hard in the dark"

In the week we trained hard, dieted hard...

But on the weekend he would catch up with his bros to watch a game or a fight, eating pizza and drinking beer with his pals so he didn't have to feel like a fitness loser.

His pals never saw it coming, and never understood how he did it.
