Retirement Announcement:

After 25 years of dedicated service, Dr Donkin has now retired from the practice. He will be missed by staff and patients alike. We would like to thank him for his years of dedication and compassionate care and wish him a long, happy, and well-deserved retirement.

🗓 Today marks the beginning of Carers Week, a week highlighting the importance of unpaid carers and what they do.

⚖️ There are nearly six million unpaid carers across the UK. They look after someone else whilst balancing family, education and work.

💰 Unpaid carers provide support that would otherwise put huge pressure on the health and social care system.

❤️ Carers hold families and communities together.

🏥 Here at PMG, we work alongside North Tyneside Carers' Centre and Newcastle Carers to help support unpaid carers.

ℹ️ Priory Medical Group will be closed for staff training on Tuesday 2nd June 2026 between 10:45am - 2:15pm.

🚪 All surgeries will reopen at 2:15pm.

📞 Our phone lines will still be available during the closure.

📮 Please place all prescription requests in the external letterboxes or complete online.

🏥 For all urgent issues during this time, please use the Urgent Treatment Centre/ Pharmacy First.

ℹ️ Priory Medical Group will be closed this coming bank holiday. With this in mind, if you need your repeat medication, please request this in good time.

🗓 It takes 2 working days to process routine requests at the surgery and then each community pharmacy has their own waiting times.
(Don't forget, you can order 7 days before your prescription is due)

ℹ️ NOTICE: DECORATING WORK TO BEGIN

🗓 We are pleased to announce that a project to refresh and redecorate our facilities will begin on Monday 18th May 2026.

⏰️This work will take place during our regular opening hours, as well as out of hours too.

✅️ Our priority is to improve the environment for all, and we are working closely with the contractors to ensure that your patient experience and scheduled appointments are not interrupted.
