Our service doesn't stop when the service is complete.

As a funeral business we are supportive and understanding, and the benefits of being independent mean we are not tied into time frames, we can spend as long as you like arranging your personalised funeral for your loved one, also in any location that suits you.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we pay tribute to the life of Dolly Parton — a beloved icon, cherished friend to so many, and a woman whose light shone brighter than any stage spotlight.

I’ve taken some time to reflect on the events of last week, and I still really don’t know what to say.

When it comes to my company, you can read all about us on our website and reviews from families what they have to say about us.
I don’t want to do a long post about how we’re different because this isn’t about us.

Robert Bush wasn’t a funeral director. He is a charlatan who duped so many people and left them in an unimaginable hellscape when he simply didn’t care about the deceased he was entrusted with or the ashes of those he should have cared for.

Instead, I would like to highlight a petition started by the families in Hull which seeks to regulate funeral directors and which I wholeheartedly support and have personally signed.

No matter what regulation or legislation is introduced, we must always remember that the public should always be at the heart of everything.

So deeply saddened to hear of Jimmy Cricket’s passing. A wonderfully warm, kind and hilarious man—he had such a gift for making every audience roar with laughter, whether on stage or at festivals, leaving everyone in stitches. A true comedy legend who brought so much joy to so many.

Sending our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to all his family and loved ones at this sad time. Rest in peace, Jimmy—thank you for the laughter you leave behind. 💔🕊️

Urgent work to take place to protect bereaved families.

I’ve deliberately waited until the Courts have sentenced the Hull funeral director, giving him 20 years in prison, before writing anything.

My first thoughts are with the families who have been affected by the events that took place in Hull. No sentence or words can undo the hurt that they will have had to endure. It is only right that the criminal courts have held him to account for his crimes.

The last two years have generated a great deal of public interest into the actions of this business, which operated outside of the scrutiny of the NAFD or SAIF.

Whilst these trade associations have no enforcement powers, they do prove to the community that the business has voluntarily undergone a rigorous inspection of their facilities and business practices. These include how the deceased is cared for, how ashes are managed, and how charitable donations are handled. A condition of the membership is adhering to a code of conduct - a breach of which would result in serious sanctions or having membership revoked.

Legacy Funerals in Hull wasn’t a trade association member at the time of the police becoming involved. They weren’t independently inspected. They weren’t held to account. They didn’t have their business practices scrutinised. He didn’t make mistakes, they were deliberate acts of negligence.

As a result, a rogue individual has dragged the funeral profession into the gutter, and tarnished the reputation of honest, hard working and caring professionals, of which I feel that we are industry leading. I am forever impressed by my staff and colleagues for the professionalism, kindness and compassion that they show.

To the public, I can only thank you for continuing to entrust us. We are not Saif or NAFD members but we follow strict code and we also get regular checks on as all funeral directors do especially now due to regulations. We work hard helping families and we'll carry on with our utmost care. God Bless love

It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Ann Widdecombe at the age of 78.

A formidable figure in British politics and public life, she was known for her unwavering convictions, distinctive personality, and decades of public service. Whether people agreed with her views or not, she made a lasting impact on political debate and was a recognisable presence on British television.

My thoughts and condolences are with her family, friends, and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
