Message to all fellow Neurodivergent individuals and parents

Heat levels like we are experiencing today and ADHD medications/Anti Depressants/Anxiety medications etc make it much more difficult to regulate temperature.

Stay Hydrated 💦
Stay in the shade 😎
Rest often 🙌
Eat small and regular 🍲

Engaging in activities that help you to regulate is even more important!!!!

For all parents of Neurodivergent children:

Inability to regulate temperature due to heat is a medical reason for authorised absence from school. If you feel it is best for your child/young person to stay at home, keep them off, be sure to let school know and ask that the absence is logged as authorised 😊

We had some amazing news today. An amazing & very lovely family we have been supporting in relation to SEND Law, received the LA’s decision to concede and name an independent school in a very special young persons EHCP! 🥳

No Tribunal.

Now the family can decompress and heal
