🌴☀️ Blackpool adventures are still going strong! 🎉

Three of our lovely gents are currently enjoying a fantastic holiday in Blackpool, with Steph and Joe who are making sure they have an action-packed time full of fun, laughter and new experiences! ❤️

Their itinerary has and will be including;

🚋 A tram ride over to Fleetwood
🎪 A fantastic trip to the Blackpool Circus
👻 A spooky visit to Blackpool Dungeons
🕵️‍♂️ A trip to Madame Tussauds
🗼 A visit to the Blackpool Tower
🛍️ Plenty of shopping and exploring
🎭 And every evening has been filled with entertainment back at the Bond Hotel, including tribute acts, bingo, lots of singing and plenty of dancing! 💃🕺🎶

And the holiday isn’t over yet! 😍 there are plenty more adventures, laughs and memories still to be made before they head home on Friday.

A huge thank you to Steph and Joe for helping make this such a fantastic holiday for our three lovely gents. ❤️

We hope you continue to have an amazing time — we can’t wait to hear all about it when you’re back! 🌟

✨Today has been a super busy but a very exciting day for everyone at ICL Homes as we have successfully recruited three new members to join our amazing team! 👏🎉

We’re delighted to welcome new faces to the ICL family and look forward to them starting their journey with us very soon and supporting our wonderful residents across our homes. 💙

💙 Yesterday ICL Homes attended the Caring Plymouth “Meet the Employer” event at Skills Launchpad Plymouth! 💙

We were proud to be represented by Allison, our Registered Manager, and Joanne, our Office Personal Assistant, who spent the afternoon meeting people interested in a rewarding career in Health and Social Care.

It was a fantastic opportunity to speak with local job seekers, share what life is like working within our small independent family-run homes, and highlight the rewarding support we provide to adults with learning disabilities.

Thank you to Caring Plymouth and Skills Launchpad Plymouth for organising such a positive and welcoming event and for helping connect local employers with people looking to start or continue a career in care.

It’s been another fantastic few weeks across our ICL Homes! 🌞💙

We’ve been making the most of the sunshine with plenty of trips out, celebrating birthdays, enjoying the fresh air, and creating lots of happy memories together.

Our residents have been keeping busy with:
🎂 Birthday celebrations
🌳 Days out in the sunshine
🍰 In-house baking
🎨 Arts and crafts
🥌 Indoor curling
🎥 Cinema trips
🎤 A fantastic visit from Michael Jackson!
🎳 Bowling
🎱 Snooker
🏊 Hydrotherapy swimming
🌼 Walks and spending time outdoors in the fresh air
✨ And many more fun and meaningful activities!

Every day is filled with laughter, friendship, new experiences, and opportunities for the people we support to enjoy life to the fullest. Seeing so many smiles makes it all worthwhile! 💙

We are incredibly proud to share that Inglenook House, Clearview, and Laburnum Lodge have all successfully achieved reverification for the St Luke’s End of Life Care Programme.

This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred end of life care, ensuring every individual we support is treated with dignity, respect, and kindness during every stage of their journey.

We are honoured to continue working alongside St Luke’s and remain committed to delivering the very best care for the people we support and their families.

Another fantastic day out for one of our service user for their birthday ! 🎭✨🥳

There’s nothing quite like experiencing the magic of live theatre, and today one of our residents enjoyed an amazing trip to see The Bodyguard at the Theatre Royal Plymouth.

At ICL Homes, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy new experiences, pursue their interests, and create lasting memories. From theatre trips and holidays to community outings and everyday adventures, we support people to live full, active, and meaningful lives.
Also what a great day to spend your working day!
