We're delighted to support this free community event on Wednesday 17th June, 10am–3pm, bringing together a range of local health, wellbeing and social care organisations under one roof.

Visitors can access expert advice, health checks, wellbeing talks, taster activities, and information on services available across Reading. Whether you're looking to improve your physical health, support your mental wellbeing, connect with local services, or simply learn something new, there's something for everyone.

You can use our online Accurx form to get in touch quickly and easily.

Medical requests are available from 7am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. Admin requests, including prescriptions and sick notes, can be submitted 24 hours a day.

We will respond to your request within our practice opening hours.

Using our online form helps us direct your query to the right team and provide you with the best possible care.

Planning a trip abroad?

We offer a limited number of NHS travel vaccinations at the surgery, including Revaxis, Typhim and Hepatitis A.

Please make sure you contact us at least 6 weeks before you travel so we can arrange your appointment in time.

Any other travel vaccines will need to be arranged through a private travel clinic such as Boots, Superdrug or Masta.

With warmer weather on the way, please remember to take care in the heat and look after those around you too. Stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, seek shade during the hottest part of the day and never leave anyone in a parked car.

Please also remember that the surgery will be closed on Monday for the Bank Holiday. If you need medical help while we are closed, please use NHS 111 online or call 111 for advice. In a medical emergency, always call 999.

Thank you for bearing with us while building works continue at our London Road site 💙

We’re pleased to share that a brand new clinical room on the top floor is now almost ready to welcome patients. The space has been created to help us continue improving our facilities and patient experience.

Dr Jack Ambrose will soon be moving into the new room once the final curtain rails are installed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these improvements take place and look forward to continuing to care for you in our updated space.

Need to request your prescription? 💊

Watch our quick video explaining everything you need to know about ordering repeat prescriptions at the surgery.

Key reminders:
✔ Routine prescriptions can take up to 3 working days to process
✔ The easiest and quickest way to request prescriptions is through the NHS App, where you can also track your request in real time
✔ You can also request medication through our Accurx triage system or in writing at the surgery
✔ For patient safety, we’re unable to take prescription requests over the phone

If your medication review is overdue or your prescription needs checking, we may ask you to book an appointment with a GP or pharmacist before approving it.
