Have you ever seen anything like this? It is beautifully named Dogs Vomit Slime mould, and it lives on decaying wood. What is really interesting is that it can move, looking for food!!!

I have never seen so many cinnabar moth caterpillars, so we are leaving the ragwort until they have gone to pupate.

I know I have been very quiet; that is because we are completely redoing the site at the moment. We have had a grant via the RMBC Flood Resilience team and are removing all the wooden raised beds and building everything out of breeze blocks. The blocks have just arrived, so we are on with that. In the meantime, we have also got another piece of land adjoining ours to redevelop, which was just a wasteland, so that has now been cleared using a digger, and we are putting up fences. So this is what it looks like now. So as you can see there is a lot to do.
