David

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of David McCormack, on 27th July 2026, aged 68 years, surrounded by the love of his sons and family.

A devoted and dearly loved dad to Daniel and Steven, a proud and cherished grandad to Bailey, Iris and Wren, and a much-loved brother, uncle and treasured friend to so many. David touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his kindness, warmth and love.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all of his loving family and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate David’s life will be held at South Shields Crematorium on Thursday 13th August 2026 at 12:30pm.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in David’s memory, if desired, may be made to The Customs House Trust Charity.

Following the service, everyone is warmly invited to join the family at The Hedworth Hall to share memories and continue celebrating David’s life.
