I wrote this for another project and never planned to share it here, but my social media manager convinced me that those who don’t know me yet should know the story behind Bio. I must admit it feels incredibly vulnerable 🤍

Growing up with so much illness in my family made me obsessed with health. Discovering that our genes aren’t the whole story gave me hope, and changed how I live.

I don’t always get it right. The last couple of years have been a real struggle, with perimenopause, running a business and raising teenagers all at once. But that’s exactly why Bio Medspa Stonehaven is about the whole picture, not perfection.
We’ve all got a story, a reason behind taking that first step. Whatever yours is, I’m here to listen and help guide you.

It’s one thing sharing clients’ before and afters. It’s another thing sharing your own.

In this job, I feel the pressure. If I’m asking clients to trust me with their skin, mine needs to show that I know what I’m doing.

As the founder of Bio, I’m lucky to have access to some incredible treatments and devices. New skincare, new devices and a plan that changed as my skin did.

There’s no one treatment that everyone needs. It’s about understanding your skin, knowing what you’re hoping to achieve and finding the right approach for you.

And that’s exactly what I want every client who walks through our doors to experience.

Sunscreen is only the beginning 🤍

SPF protects against UV damage. Antioxidants add protection against free radical damage from environmental stress, including pollution.

This is why we love ZO Daily Power Defense and Illuminating AOX, and our clients love them too.

• Both support your skin barrier and lasting hydration.
• Both provide antioxidant protection.
• AOX adds a dewy glow, with light-reflecting minerals giving skin a luminous finish.

Hydrated skin, daily protection and a glow our clients love ✨

Emily rated us 5 out of 5!

amazing treatment as always, vey relaxing and the best products used, the appointment itself is lovely but the benefits go far beyond the one hour, the benefits to skin come the following days with skin surface looking smoother and the face looking tighter, plus the dry areas I suffer with slowly flake of as the following week comes due to the enzyme peel and rich moisturiser, this has become a weekly treat for me as it really makes me feel good taking time for myself x

I would thoroughly recommend Ruth, I’ve had many treatments with her and her knowledge is very reassuring, she helps me feel comfortable with treatments and procedures. I look forward to my next treatment in 6 weeks.
