After the overwhelming success of our first Empty Chairs meeting, we are delighted to announce that we will be holding another on Tuesday 18th August in the Fox & Hounds Wroughton at the slightly later time of 6pm. We hope this later time will allow for those who are still working to come along and have a chat.
Remember, there is no agenda, everyone is welcome, come along and meet some new friends…. Just look for the Orange Table!!!!

If you’ve just moved to the village, recently become single or just want someone to talk to - you will be made most welcome. (I promise not to look so Grumpy this time…)

Following the announcement of a 20 year sentence to Robert Bush today, we can now finally respond with our deepest apologies, condolences and sympathies to everyone affected by these horrific events.

Recent news from Hull has understandably raised concerns about the care and standards families should expect from a funeral director. We ourselves are shocked and saddened that this has happened to these families.

We are regularly inspected and voluntarily regulated under the UK Funeral Director Code. Families also have access to an independent complaints process through SAIF, delivered by an externally audited and Chartered Trading Standards Institute-certified body.

We hope these safeguards offer added reassurance that families and their loved ones will be treated with care, dignity and respect.

On Tuesday 4th August at 4pm, Karen and I will be joining this delightful young lady whose name is Kirsty, and be wearing orange in the Fox & Hounds Markham Road Wroughton, as we are hosting an ‘Empty Chairs’ event.

These are promoted as a means for those who wish to talk, are feeling lonely, or recently bereaved etc.etc can come along and just meet people in a safe environment and not feel out of place or judged in any way.

If you do decide to come along , you will be made most welcome, just head for the table with lots of orange on it!!!!!
