New Park is a Care Centre located just minutes off the M50 on a landscaped site with open views of the North Dublin countryside. We are equipped with all modern facilities and provide secure and comfortable living in a professionally managed setting. By focussing on the needs and requirements of our residents, we are able to help them make the transition from living at home to their new lives in a

caring, friendly and happy environment. We promote a caring and nurturing environment for residents with very different requirements. Newpark Care Centre offers a wide range of activities which are dependant on resident interests and personal choice. Our activities are designed to create a stimulating environment whilst supporting life skills and enhancing feelings of self worth and purpose. Here are some photos from this year's Family Fun and a great time was had by all.
Our thanks go to our crack Activities team of Pamela and Mairead, ably assisted by Derval who organise the whole thing, our chefs and kitchen team for keeping all the delicious food coming, our healthcare assistants for ensuring all the residents who wished to attend could do so. And thanks to all the families who attended and we hope, thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Well it's over for another year! Thanks to everyone who came and made such a brilliant afternoon. Thanks must go to Derval, Pamela and Mairead for organising yet another cracking fun day.
A special thanks to our amazing chefs Tadius and Yeng and all the Kitchen team who literally slaved all afternoon on the BBQ to feed the hungry guests. We will post photos and videos tomorrow when we gather ourselves after a good night's sleep! 💖

PHARMACY PROVIDER TO NEWPARK

MacNamara’s Pharmacy, Dublin Road, Swords are the pharmacy provider to Newpark Care Centre. All medication received during a resident' stay in Newpark will be sent from McNamaras, unless specified otherwise.

Everyone staying at Newpark will have to pay for the medication provided during their stay in Newpark, including medical card, DPS and private fees.

The pharmacy will contact a nominated person via text message to let them know that there is a bill. Payment can be made by card over the phone, in person in the pharmacy, or can be given in cash to a member of the Reception team, who will give you a receipt and forward the money to MacNamara’s.

LAUNDRY GUIDELINES

Newpark Care Centre offers a personalised laundry service for our residents via an external laundry company called Elis.

Elis offers a service specially designed for Health Care Facilities and Care homes caring for the special requirements of all their residents. Elis offers all residents a 3-day collection and delivery with a 48-hour, turn-around of all personal laundry.

However neither Newpark Care Centre nor Elis can take responsibility for any items of clothing which require special treatment such as items not suitable for dry cleaning or machine washing.

Any items requiring special care such as hand washing or dry-cleaning (e.g. anything wtih merino wool, aran, silks, 100% wool etc), we would ask that the resident’s family member would take these items home to ensure they are cared for correctly and then returned to avoid any report of missing clothes.

The laundry service wash process is 36 degrees, therefore clothes that need to be washed lower than 36 degrees shouldn’t be sent for laundry. Any clothing labelled as per the attached should also not be sent for laundry.
