I WAS CALLED A SCAMMER.

Today, for the first time since creating Last Ride Urns, I experienced something I decided to speak about publicly. 📣

Not because I want to start an online argument. I will not share names or company details. I simply want to make it clear where I draw the line, both as a person and as the owner of a small handmade business.⚒️

A funeral home wanted to order a display urn from me to show to its clients. From the beginning of this collaboration, there were signs that should probably have raised a red flag for me.🚩

On Etsy, we show examples of some of our previous custom memorials. Etsy does not really allow us to create a simple gallery of pieces that are “for viewing only,” so these memorials appear as listings. In every description, we clearly explain that the urn shown is an example of a previous custom project, that the original piece already belongs to someone, and that what the customer is ordering is a new, individually made urn based on that design.⚱️

When I explained this to the client, I was asked whether we were “scamming people” — whether someone orders one urn and then receives something completely different — and I was also told that people should apparently be warned about us.‼️

That should have been the moment when I walked away from the collaboration.❌

I did not.

What is more, I personally asked the client not to place the order and not to pay in advance until the urn was finished. I wanted to complete the work first, show the final result, and only then accept payment. Despite my request, the order was placed anyway.

Yes — the project took longer than expected. I am not going to pretend otherwise. I take responsibility for that. We are human. Everything we create is handmade, and sometimes delays happen.

There are also situations when a family contacts us and says, “We need this urn in three weeks because that is when our father’s Celebration of Life will take place.”🕯️

When that happens, we do everything we can to make it happen. If another custom order does not have a fixed deadline and can wait a little longer, sometimes we have to move it slightly in the schedule. In this case, we also informed the client that our schedule had changed due to health reasons.

We did not receive any information that the urn was needed by a specific date. There was no reminder. There was no question asking whether the urn was ready. There was no message saying, “We need it by the end of the month.”

Until today.

The urn is now practically at the final stage of completion.

And today I received a message which says: „You are nothing but a filthy, wretched fraud working in the funeral industry—it makes me sick!”
I was called a “lousy scammer”, together with the statement that I should “look forward to” a review about me and my “scam” appearing online. 💔

And this is where I draw the line.

Yes — there was a delay.
No — there was no scam.

I can accept criticism. I can say, “Yes, this took longer than I expected.” I can apologize for a delay and take responsibility for it.

But a delay is not fraud.

After receiving that message, I made the decision to end the collaboration and cancel the order. The full amount paid was refunded immediately. 💸

Last Ride Urns was not created to produce anonymous objects.

We create final rides for people who were deeply loved by their families. We put hours of work, experience, emotion, care, and enormous respect into every single memorial we create.🕊️

We are not perfect. We make mistakes. Sometimes things take longer than planned. And I will always take responsibility for what is genuinely on our side.

But respect has to work both ways. 🤝🏻

You can be disappointed.
You can criticize a delay.
You can decide that you no longer want to continue working together.

But I will not accept being called a scammer or having a delayed handmade project publicly presented as fraud.

This is the first time I have ever experienced a situation like this, and I hope it is the last.

We are not stopping!! 🛑

We are going back to the workshop, back to the families who trust us, and back to creating more Last Rides — with heart, honesty, and the best of our ability. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me, often from thousands of miles away and from another continent. Thank you for your patience, your messages, the stories you share with me, and for allowing me to create something so meaningful for your families. Because of you, I am able to do what I love — and put my whole heart into this work. 🤲🏻♥️

♥️BIG RED♥️

This is another one of those projects that reminds us why we love creating custom memorial urns.⚱️

Zena came to us with one simple request:
“I want it to look exactly like my dad’s Road King.”🏍️

His motorcycle was a 2002 Harley-Davidson Road King, and while the paint initially appears factory original, it actually tells a much more personal story. The original Harley-Davidson tank emblems had been removed years ago and replaced with hand-painted lettering that simply read…

Big Red. ♥️💙

Recreating that tank became one of those projects where every tiny detail mattered. We refinished the tank in the original Luxury Rich Red, the factory color used by Harley-Davidson during those years, then added the Grey and Tomato Red pinstripes exactly as they appeared on the original motorcycle. 👌🏻

Finally, working from nothing more than photographs and measurements, Dixon Pinstriping faithfully recreated the hand-painted “Big Red” lettering. 👨🏻‍🎨

I have to say… I’m incredibly proud of how this one turned out. 🏆

Dixon did an absolutely phenomenal job with the artwork, and together we were able to recreate something that not only resembles the original tank but truly captures its character.👊🏻

Projects like this are always a challenge. But they’re also the reason we do what we do. ⚒️

Thank you, Zena, for trusting us with such a personal tribute to your dad.

More unique creations are coming soon. 🖤🏍️

And here it is💙

The matching urn we created for Jay’s wife.

Just like her husband’s piece, this urn was commissioned in advance. Together, they decided to make these choices themselves—a beautiful act of love that also spares their family from having to make difficult decisions one day.

For this build, we chose a Peanut-style fuel tank. It’s compact, elegant, and its flatter sides provide the perfect canvas for artwork. She knew exactly one thing from the beginning—she wanted it to be teal.

Together, we settled on Ford’s Breeze color, a stunning blue-green shade that changes beautifully depending on the light. It’s subtle, elegant, and has an incredible depth that perfectly suits the design.

The hand-machined and polished aluminum fuel cap received one final detail—a genuine Labradorite gemstone. Its natural flashes of blue and green catch the light in much the same way as the paint, making it feel almost alive.

Our client sent us several inspiration images featuring a Bible, the Christian fish symbol, a cross, and traditional scrollwork. Rather than copying those references, we designed our own composition that brought all of those elements together into one harmonious piece.

As always, Dixon Pinstriping transferred the design onto the tank with incredible precision, staying remarkably faithful to the original concept.

The result is a pair of urns created for a husband and wife—both designed long before they’re ever needed.

Two very different pieces, connected by one thing that mattered deeply to them both: their faith. 🖤

RELIQUARY™ — WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

I originally thought I should begin introducing the Last Ride collections with the boldest and most impressive designs. But perhaps the right place to begin is simply… at the beginning. 🤲🏻

The Reliquary™ Collection was born during the earliest days of Last Ride, when my budget allowed me to purchase only a few motorcycle cylinders and several small pieces of wood.🪵

From those modest beginnings, I created the first seven small cylinder memorials.⚱️

Today, those early designs have become the Reliquary™ Collection — a series of compact, handcrafted memorials made from authentic motorcycle cylinders, with a small wooden base and lid. 🛠️

They are designed to hold a symbolic portion of ashes, making them ideal as a personal keepsake for someone who wishes to keep part of a loved one’s memory close.🕊️

Their smaller size does not make them less meaningful. Sometimes, the smallest memorial can carry an entire story.♥️

Reliquary™ memorials have also been created for beloved animals who shared their lives with motorcycle and automotive families. Over the years, I have had the honor of creating one for a cat and another for a dog — both deeply loved and forever connected to the world their families cherished. 🏍️

This collection reminds me where Last Ride began - with limited materials, a small workshop, and a very large idea.💡

Small in size. Infinite in meaning.✨

A journey of craftsmanship never truly ends! 🏍️

Over the years, I’ve never stopped refining my work. Every custom order has opened a new path, sparked a new idea, and pushed me to create something even more meaningful. Every family, every rider, and every story has left its mark on the collections I create.🛠️

Today, I’m proud to say that Last Ride Urns has grown into more than 20 original collections.✨

Each collection has its own identity.
Each one tells a different story.
Each one is inspired by a different idea, emotion, or piece of motorcycle heritage.

They are not just urns—they are collections with a soul.🕯️

And this is only the beginning.🚀

I’m already working on two new collections that will become the most luxurious and prestigious pieces I’ve ever created. I can’t wait to share them with you.🤲🏻

Over the coming weeks, I’d love to introduce each collection one by one—sharing the inspiration behind its name, its design philosophy, and the story it was created to tell.🗣️

Thank you for being part of this journey. 🖤

Because every ride deserves a story that lives on.🤟🏻

Hard Candy I No. 150 — Gas Tank Urn
________________________________

⚜️Hard Candy Series⚜️

The Hard Candy Series is built for those who lived loud and left a mark. Inspired by iconic Harley Davidson candy paint, each piece is finished with real metal flake — deep, shimmering layers that come alive in the light. ✨

There’s something eternal about the shape of a fuel tank — the curve that once held power, freedom, and the open road. This urn carries that same spirit. It’s more than metal and wood — it’s a promise that the ride never really ends.🕯️

▪️Base: HD Deuce gas tank
▪️Wood: Exotic mahogany oil treated
▪️Colors: Candy Orange / Vivid Black
▪️Accents: Metalflake paintjob / chrome crown aluminium gas cap

For those whose story deserves to be told in color, motion and soul.🏍️

Electra 2006 CVO ♥️

Sometimes the best projects begin with a completely different idea. Brenda from Canada originally contacted us because she wanted to purchase one of our ready-made urns.⚱️

The one she fell in love with had already found its home. During our conversation, I asked a simple question: „What did your husband actually ride?”🏍️

That changed everything.

Instead of choosing a design that simply looked beautiful, we decided to recreate his motorcycle. It turned out to be a 2006 Harley-Davidson CVO Screamin’ Eagle Electra Glide—one of the rarer factory paint schemes Harley ever produced.💎

As many of you already know, recreating CVO paint is always one of the biggest challenges we take on. Harley-Davidson has never published the original paint formulas, so every color has to be reverse-engineered from photographs, videos, reflections, and years of experience.🎨

Fortunately, we managed to source a genuine OEM Screamin’ Eagle emblem, which is becoming increasingly difficult to find. That meant we could stay faithful to the original motorcycle down to the smallest detail.👌🏻

To match the paint, we asked our client to film the original tank in direct sunlight and with a camera flash. Those videos revealed something photographs couldn’t—the black wasn’t simply black. It carried a subtle red metallic sparkle hidden beneath the surface.✨

Using Harley-Davidson Vivid Black as the base, we recreated that effect with carefully selected red metallic flake. The striping combines Industrial Grey, Brilliant Silver, and a custom-mixed Burgundy, specially developed by our friend Lcp Patrycjusz Lepian Gaj after studying the original finish.

Projects like this remind us why we love what we do. Thank you for your trust 🫶🏻

✨THE BIKE - THE TRIBUTE.✨

This time, we recreated a 2017 Harley-Davidson Road Glide finished in the stunning Olive Gold factory color. At first glance it looks simple. But that’s exactly what makes it special. 💚

The deep olive metallic shifts beautifully depending on the light, revealing subtle gold highlights that give the paint incredible depth. Paired with the original chrome emblem, polished aluminum fuel cap, and a rich hardwood base, the result is clean, timeless, and unmistakably Harley.💪🏻

Sometimes, the most meaningful tribute doesn’t need elaborate artwork. Sometimes, the motorcycle itself tells the whole story. 🏍️
