Join Annie Barnes, DPT for this in-depth talk and conversation about pelvic health during/after perimenopause. Annie is a physical therapist with Anti-Fragile and has special expertise and training in pelvic health, orthopedic physical therapy, and pregnancy/postpartum corrective exercise.
As estrogen declines through perimenopause and beyond, the pelvic floor changes too, often leading to symptoms like leakage, pressure, pain, or discomfort that many women assume they just have to live with. They don’t.
This workshop offers a clear, judgment-free look at what’s actually happening in the body during this transition, and practical strategies to support pelvic floor strength, bladder control, and comfort. We’ll cover common symptoms and why they happen, the role of hormones in pelvic tissue health, simple exercises and lifestyle approaches that help, and when it’s worth talking to a specialist.
