I get asked often what my thoughts are on using beef tallow on your skin so here you go!

Beef tallow has become a huge skincare trend lately, with people claiming it’s a “natural miracle” for your skin. While some people may love it, I’ve also been seeing the other side of this trend in my treatment room.
One of the biggest issues I’ve noticed with clients who have been using beef tallow is congestion. Because it is a heavy, rich ingredient, it can sit on the surface of the skin and trap oil, dead skin cells, bacteria, and debris — especially for those who are acne-prone or have clogged pores.
