This Fund-a-Thon season was particularly challenging as we received heartbreaking news that we lost our four year legal battle to challenge Indiana’s near-total abortion ban. The Indiana Supreme Court’s recent decision means most Indiana residents will still be required to cross state lines for the abortion care they need, indefinitely.

While we’re extremely disappointed in the outcome of our court case, we remain steadfast in our commitment to Hoosier abortion access! As Indiana’s first and only abortion fund, people will continue to reach out to us for help as they navigate the state’s near-total abortion ban, and we will continue to support them financially, logistically, and emotionally.

We’re working hard to maintain the high levels of abortion funding we’ve been able to provide post-Dobbs, and our Fund-a-Thon campaign gives us a head start in that direction.

Indiana is one of the most restrictive states for abortion access, with a cruel abortion ban forcing nearly everyone who needs an abortion out of state.

As Indiana’s first and only abortion fund, we provide critical and urgent resources for callers who reach out to us for help.

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe in 2022, our community showed up like never before, donating in unprecedented numbers! With this outpouring of support, we were able to pledge $715,000 in funding to more than 3,000 clients!

As we’ve seen over the last week, the abortion access crisis didn’t end in 2022, but funding has considerably decreased. 📉 Although we’re still providing significant levels of abortion funding post-Dobbs, our clients’ needs are also increasing and we’re not able to fund every request we receive. 💔

Fund-a-Thon is an important fundraiser for the All-Options Hoosier Abortion Fund (HAF). We rely on this people-powered fundraising campaign every year to develop our annual budget for HAF. Most of the dollars we spend on HAF clients comes from everyday people like you.

This year we’re raising $75,973 ✨ just $1 more than we raised last year ✨ to support an increasing number of people who call us in need of abortion funding.

The $$$ we raise from Fund-a-Thon provides critical resources to meet the rising need for abortion funding in Indiana – the first state to introduce new legislation to ban abortion after the overturn of Roe v. Wade.

Pregnant Hoosiers and families reached out for our support, and we showed up:

💸 Our Hoosier Abortion Fund pledged nearly $400K for Indiana abortion access, and funded 827 clients!

💰With your help, we raised over $147,000 for Hoosier abortion access!

🧷 Just before we rehomed our Hoosier Diaper program, we delivered over 170,000 diapers to 430 Hoosier families! And we continue to provide diapers for abortion clients who need them.

Earlier this year, our Board of Directors shared some important news:

After 10 years of service to local community, we made a difficult decision to close our All-Options Pregnancy Resource Center in Bloomington, Indiana.

Today, we’re taking a moment to honor the impact and celebrate the accomplishments of our pregnancy resource center over the last decade.

💞 We could not have done this work without you – the people who donated to our organization, the local groups who referred clients to our programs, and the dedicated staff, volunteers, and interns who created a judgment-free space where everyone felt welcomed, heard, and seen. From the bottom of our hearts: thank you for helping us make this possible!

🗣️ Although we closed our brick-and-mortar location, All-Options IS STILL OPEN! And our commitment to pregnant and parenting Hoosiers continues! We’re here for you. 💗
