🌟Autism Quick Tip: Give extra processing time!

Many autistic children need a little extra time to process language and instructions. After asking a question or giving a direction, try counting to 10 in your head before repeating yourself.

Jumping in too quickly can actually make it harder to respond—that pause gives your child the space they need to understand, think, and communicate on their own terms.

Small shifts like this can make a big difference in connection and communication.💙
