The FACTS Initiative is seeking a Clinical Program Director to join our team for 15-20 flexible hours a week. Thanks to the generous support of Charlie's Heart Foundation, this leadership role offers a guaranteed $30,000 annual salary. If you are tired of the fee-for-service grind—where planning, coordinating, and client cancellations mean unpaid time—this is your chance to step into a stable, salaried position with Paid Time Off.

What you will do:

Lead & Triage: Review incoming Comprehensive Clinical Assessments (CCAs) and assign clients to the most appropriate provider across our decentralized program.

Clinical Mentorship: Supervise and guide our incoming cohort of master's level interns.

Operational Coverage: Ensure critical clinical coverage at our main office while our interns and fellows are serving clients in the community.

Note: You will step away from a traditional heavy caseload, reserving direct client care for minimal, high-needs situations or co-facilitation.

Guaranteed Pay & PTO: $30,000 annually for a 15-20 hour flexible workweek.

💙 October is National Depression and Mental Health Screening Month

Mental health is an important part of overall well-being, and checking in with ourselves and the people we care about can make a difference.

Changes in mood, behavior, sleep, relationships, or everyday activities can sometimes be signs that someone may benefit from additional support. A mental health check-in can be a helpful first step toward understanding what’s going on and connecting with the right resources.

For children and families, having a safe and supportive space to talk about emotions and challenges is especially important. 🌱

At The FACTS Initiative, we provide trauma-informed mental health services designed to support children and families as they navigate difficult experiences, build healthy coping skills, and work toward healing and growth.

Asking for help is not a weakness. It is a step toward better mental health. 💙

During Su***de Prevention Month, we’re reminded that sometimes the most important thing we can do is simply show up and start a conversation. 💙

Asking someone, “Are you okay?” can open the door to a conversation that may matter more than we realize. Listening, staying present, taking concerns seriously, and helping someone connect with support can make a meaningful difference.

You don’t have to have all the answers. You just have to be willing to listen and help someone take the next step.

💙 August was all about connection, confidence, and supporting families through change.

🎒 As families prepared for a new school year, we shared practical Back-to-School Tips to help children and caregivers build routines, support emotional wellness, and navigate the transition with confidence.

🍽️ We also encouraged families to make time for meaningful conversations and connection through simple family check-ins, creating space to listen, share, and support one another.

✨ This month, we also celebrated our Co-Founder and Executive Director, Gwen Harris, and the leadership, compassion, and dedication she brings to The FACTS Initiative. Through her clinical training, military service, and commitment to serving others, Gwen continues to help strengthen our mission and ensure families receive the care and support they deserve.

🌱 Finally, we shared Maya's Client Success Story, highlighting how individual support, family education, and connection with peers helped her better understand her emotions, communicate her needs, and build confidence during a time of significant transition.

Stories like Maya's remind us why compassionate, trauma-informed support matters.
