Residents joined Li Ruefenacht, a certified yoga instructor with a Qigong certification, for a gentle meditative movement class more familiarly recognized as Tai Chi! The class combines breath, movement, and mindfulness to support balance, mobility, relaxation, and overall wellness for all ability levels. This was Li's first time at our community, and residents are looking forward to her next session!

We recently welcomed the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center MCPC for a wonderful afternoon learning all about the incredible wildlife in New Jersey. The presentation had everyone engaged and participating, featuring a slideshow, wildlife artifacts, and plenty of facts about our local animal neighbors. The highlight of the day was a visit from a live native snake, making it a truly memorable, hands-on experience that brought a lot of joy and curiosity to the community.

Joe Filipak from Allaire Health Services joined us at a recent Men's Club gathering. The group swapped stories, shared laughs, and dove into the conversations about cowboy culture, and military life. It was a great midday session with good company and plenty of personality.

Our flower beds and gardens are flourishing, thanks our dedicated Green Thumbs group! This crew now meets every Friday morning to soak up the fresh air while planting, watering, and tending to the vibrant flowers, herbs, and greenery in the community garden beds. It is such a joy to watch these spaces come alive and transform our outdoor areas into a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful visit from a special guest, Keimylah, the daughter of Lifestyle Concierge Destiny, who set up shop with her own personalized Lemonade Lounge! Residents loved stopping by for a refreshing drink and supporting her fun afternoon stand while spending time catching up with friends. It was a delightful treat and a perfect way to stay cool together.

We fired up the grill to celebrate some incredible news! Juniper Village at Chatham is officially certified as a Great Place to Work, with an amazing 92% of our team members proudly sharing that our community is an awesome place to be. It was a beautiful afternoon spent enjoying great food and even better company outside in the sunshine. We are so incredibly proud of the dedicated team that makes our community such a wonderful place to work every single day!

Kiran Mulgund from CareBuilders at Home and Poonam Shah of PRANA YOGA recently teamed up to host an interactive session focused on brain health and overall wellness. Participants enjoyed an energizing, feel-good experience combining gentle seated exercises, breathwork, and fun memory games. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn practical strategies for staying active, engaged, and connected.
