Happy fall, y'all! 🍂

MHA's The Resource Center spent a beautiful autumn day at McCray's Farm! We picked our favorite pumpkins, fed the cows, and enjoyed the fall sunshine. 🎃☀️

The Resource Center is a valuable part of MHA's mission, creating opportunities for independence with new experiences and time well spent. 💛

An evening of celebrating the people who make MHA, MHA! 🎉

At our annual meeting, we recognized every way that MHA has not just grown this year, but transformed. From our New Way Services opening its 12th residential home and purchasing a 13th, to 94% of our Supportive Housing participants exiting to permanent housing and staying housed, MHA has truly earned its title of Best Nonprofit and Best Place to Work for the 9th year in a row.

We also honored our Core Value Award winners, who go above and beyond every single day, bringing our mission to life. Finally, we recognized a record number of Longevity Award honorees, thanking them for their years of dedication and service.

To our MHA family: thank you for everything you do. We’re proud to have you on this team. 💙

Some full-circle moments remind us how powerful a community can be. 💪💓

In honor of a participant who was lost, his family provided MHA's GRIT program with the funding necessary to give back to others who might be struggling in the same way. Last week, the MHA community gathered to walk through Springfield, offering food, blessing bags, tents, and Narcan to individuals experiencing homelessness and possibly facing challenges with substance use and mental health.

This participant's family transformed an unimaginable loss into an opportunity for others to receive compassion, support, and hope. For that, we are forever grateful. 🫶✨
