A Stroke Changed Tony's Life. Determination Changed His Future.

After a severe stroke left Tony unable to lift his left arm or leg, he came to Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital requiring maximum assistance for mobility and self-care.

With hard work, perseverance, and intensive therapy, Tony achieved remarkable gains. At discharge, he was walking more than 150 feet with only light assistance and performing daily activities with supervision.

Primary focus: Mansfield | Arlington | Cedar Hill & surrounding communities

This is a great opportunity for a healthcare professional who knows the local community, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about connecting patients and families with the right level of care.

We’re looking for someone who has:
• Active clinical license required
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, acute care, or a related clinical setting preferred
• Marketing or healthcare business development experience preferred
• A professional, collaborative approach to working with patients, families, physicians, and referral partners
• A passion for patient care and building meaningful relationships within the healthcare community
• Strong knowledge of or connections within the Mansfield, Arlington, Cedar Hill and surrounding healthcare communities is a plus

What a wonderful week celebrating our incredible team!

Year to date, we’ve admitted 882 patients, with 57% having neurological diagnoses and 27% having experienced a stroke. 82% of our patients have discharged to the community. These numbers represent real people, hard work, and lives changed.

A huge thank you to our amazing vendors — Alltech Orthotics & Prosthetics, Centre for Neuro Skills, DASH Transportation, Bailey’s Medical Equipment and Supplies, Amcare Pro Home Health, Home Heal PA, and Medline — for providing meals and snacks for our team!

We also had the honor of dedicating our ADL Suite to Dr. Peter Rappa, former Medical Director, followed by a beautiful balloon release in his honor.

It was a special week filled with gratitude, celebration, and a reminder of why we do what we do.
