This past weekend was a special one for our clinic. Our staff gathered to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Dr. Reeves’s first baby. We hosted a baby shower for her and her husband, Jon, on Sunday. It was a fun and wonderful time for everyone! Congratulations, Dr. Reeves!

☀️🐾 Summer Safety Reminder for Your Pets! 🐾☀️

The Texas heat is here, and it can become dangerous for our furry family members in no time. Help keep your pets safe this summer by following these simple tips:

🌡️ Avoid walks during the hottest part of the day. Early mornings and evenings are best.
💧 Always provide fresh, cool water and plenty of shade.
🚗 Never leave your pet in a parked car—not even for a few minutes.
🐾 Check the pavement before walks. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws.
😎 Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse.

If you think your pet may be suffering from heatstroke, seek veterinary care immediately. Quick treatment can save their life.

Dear Rutherford Clients,

To better serve our boarders, we will not be able to offer daycare or bathing services from July 3rd through July 7th. During this period, all bathing appointments will be reserved exclusively for our boarding pets. As a friendly reminder, with 4th of July fireworks approaching, if your pet requires medication to help with noise anxiety, now is the perfect time to contact us and place your refill or medication request.
