What if the biggest lie you're being told... is the one you're telling yourself?

Sometimes we hold on because our wounds need something.

We convince ourselves that a relationship, opportunity, friendship, or situation will finally give us what we've been missing.

But deep down, our soul already knows the truth.

The question is: are we listening?

Take a moment today and ask yourself:

Where am I living in two realities?
What truth am I avoiding?
What is my intuition trying to tell me?

The journey back to yourself begins with honesty.

When we talk about mental health, it's important to remember that our story didn't begin today.

Our experiences, relationships, family dynamics, losses, successes, and challenges all shape how we see ourselves and the world around us.

Understanding your mental health history isn't about dwelling on the past—it's about gaining insight into the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may still be influencing you today.

The more we understand where we've been, the better equipped we are to decide where we want to go.

Take a moment to reflect:
💭 What experiences have shaped who you are today?
💭 What patterns have you noticed in your life?
💭 What parts of your story deserve more compassion?

Awareness is often the first step toward healing.

One thing I've learned is that life has a way of making us feel like passengers.

We get busy taking care of everyone else, meeting expectations, and responding to whatever comes our way. Before we know it, we're moving through our days without checking in with ourselves about where we're actually headed.

Here's your reminder today:

You are in the driver's seat of your life.
You may not be able to control every circumstance, but you can choose how you respond.
You can set boundaries.
You can change directions.
You can decide what deserves your time, energy, and attention.

If something isn't working for you anymore, you're allowed to make a different choice.

What is one area of your life where you're ready to take the wheel again?

I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

I’m honored to be joining the Money Making Conversations Master Class with the incredible on Tuesday, May 19th from 6–7 PM ET.

During this conversation, I’ll also be sharing more about the FELT Experience — a wellness experience and membership created to help people reconnect back to themselves through mental health education, nervous system awareness, mindfulness, sound healing, and intentional community.

FELT is about learning how to:
Slow down and listen to your body
Understand the emotional patterns you carry
Release stress stored in the nervous system
Create space for clarity, peace, and alignment
Move from survival mode into intentional living

As a therapist and healer, I’ve learned that many people don’t need another mask to wear — they need a safe space to finally feel. That is the heart behind FELT.
This conversation is for the people who have been carrying so much for so long and are ready to reconnect with themselves in a deeper way.

Tune in.

Do you ever find yourself in the passenger seat of life… and people want to pull you out and put you in the driver’s seat?

They want you to be the leader. The natural GPS. They want you to know exactly how long it takes to reach the destination — and have every ingredient to the recipe for success.

And you’re sitting there like “Hold on… you are a fully capable individual. You can get us there.”
But instead you feel this adverse reaction — “Why can’t they just let me ride?”

Here’s what I want you to know: You are allowed to say no. You can act like you don’t know — even when they know that you know — because that’s how brilliant you are. But you don’t always have to be ON.

When that moment comes, say “no” — or tell them to drop you off at the next corner so you can get in your own car. 🚙

Because always being in the driver’s seat has a real impact on your body, your autonomic nervous system, your mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Always being on is not sustainable.
We think “I have the answer” or “I can get us there” — but when do YOU ever get to be off?

Think about that. 💭
